What happened to Whitney Houston before when her voice left everyone in utter surprise happened to Mariah Carey now. It happened to Regine too in a not too distant past. While other people were commenting negatively about how the divas voice failed on many occasions in their LIVE performances, I will dwell on the positive side of it. Everyone, singer or not, have our days in the sun and our performance in the past wane as we grow. Let us not be too blunt about our criticism of how their voices varies from the recording because in LIVE performances, uncontrolled factors creep in, tiresome practice, fatigue, stress, and more stress. Performers are humans and their body needs to rest and rejuvenate. If those who wants to hear everything perfect then they could have bought a robot who is fine-tuned to sing any tracks pre-recorded in studio and played to your musings and preferences.
