What happens the moment a believer stops repenting of the practice of sin and self-righteousness… What happens the moment a believer stops repenting of the practice of sin and self-righteousness towards Sovereign God and exercising faith towards the Saviour LORD Jesus Christ, that seeks to walk after, in, and by being filled with the Spirit, in accordance to the absolute authority of the Scripture? Scriptural grace abounds: Romans 6:1 (1) What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? (2) God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? (3) Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? (4) Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. Saints start to yield to the devil: 1John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Sovereign God begins chastising and scourging: Hebrews 12:5-6 (5) And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: (6) For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. Saviour LORD Jesus Christ stops being glorified: 1Coritnhians 10:31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God. Spirit of the living God is grieved, quenched, and ignored: Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. 1Thessaloians 5:19 Quench not the Spirit. Revelation 2:7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches… Scripture is resisted, rebelled against, and refused to be one’s absolute authority: 1John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. Start of resisting God and not being in a position to receive His mercy and grace: Proverbs 28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. James 4:6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. Sinful reaping of corruption, for God is not mocked, for if you sow to the flesh, you will reap corruption: Galatians 6:7-8 (7) Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. (8) For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. Scorning God’s way of delivering you from temptation: 1Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
