What happens when the friendly flora and unfriendly flora are out of balance in your intestine, when you have Fibromyalgia candida yeast overgrowth? Within the gut lives a variety of organisms including bacterias and yeast. Healthy balance of these organisms is when both the friendly and unfriendly flora are balanced, in synergy, working together. Sometimes the flora can be thrown out of balance, allowing the unfriendly flora to dominate - Fibromyalgia Candida yeast overgrowth. This can be due a variety of reasons. Long term use of antibiotics kills off the good flora and allows the bad flora to dominate. Prednisone, oral contraceptives and excessive sugar consumption can all create intestinal bacteria imbalance. This is called overgrowth of yeast or Candidiasis - Fibromyalgia Candida yeast overgrowth. This yeast overgrowth can create a myriad of health problems or aggrevate existing conditions. Candidiasis exhibits symptoms of sugar cravings and fatigue. You may also see: * infections of the mouth, vagina, nose and respiratory symptoms * severe PMS, cramping, bloating * rashes and acne * allergies to molds, foods, dust * increased chemical sensitivity, increased sensitivity to odors * chronic bronchitis, sinusitis and other infections The yeast that takes over in the gut lives off of sugar, thus, the sugar cravings. The metabolites, that the yeast produce, can lead to leaky gut syndrome that allows undigested food particles, chemical and other substances into the blood. The presence of these substances in the blood can lead to the symptoms of Fibroymalgia and food allergies.
