What has happened to common sense and just general niceness? Ive had 2 experiences in 2 days with 2 different employees of the same company. One person was the biggest jerk in the universe and the other was charming. The situation: employee was told that no one may enter without a badge, BUT there was an access hallway for a few folks who needed to walk a 20 yard corridor to get from point A to point B. Jerk of the year absolutely, positively, would not, could not allow, escort, fathom the possibility of allowing a non-badged person to traverse said corridor and yelled, tugged and generally threw a tantrum to the point that non-involved 3rd party kindly offered ride on fork-lift around screaming jerk. Day 2. Same corridor, charming person. Im not supposed to let you in without a badge, so Im going to have to walk with you. Problem solved. Corridor traversed. Seriously...what is wrong with some people? I was somewhat amused at Barney Fife behavior of jerk, but I wondered how this person was able to survive in the real world of humans day after day. Kinda sad.
