What is Feel and then Timing. Getting to spend time with Sharn is getting less and less as they grow up but so lovely to enjoy Her, Look at her feel and her dedication with My Man Duke here, the understanding and the ease. Old School works against this, it says they must submit and they must yield or else we need to be rougher, we must win at all costs, so there fore we must out ride the resistance that shows up, now some can do this, But all nervous riders and softer riders will find this very difficult to do. Lets say there is feel and feel is at zero, and then there is Bucking, Rearing and Bolting and they are at ten. now along those numbers is resistance so we get that depending on where a person is with a Horse they will be experiencing one of those numbers, now someone not using feeling or being aware will have every Horse get to 10 and beyond very quickly, now if they are that sort of person they will never see the link or build up because they got so used to riding Horses with Huge resistance issues so they think that is how all Horses feel, now People like me and there are millions like me are never ever going to leg them up on our Horses and let them feel what it should feel like, Now that is not because we are worried that they will ruin our Horses and we will not have great Horses anymore, No what ever someone put into a Horse good Horseman can always take it out so easily. It is because when People like me have Built amazing Horses they become family and to watch someone hurt and bother them so much in their riding we simply would not be willing to allow that even to prove a point or win an argument, it would be like selling your soul and so many of our Horses have given us so much love and honest years that we Owe them so much. It is like someone claiming the facts of Horses and being so far off that the scale does not go far enough backwards to explain how wrong they are, and they consider because everyday they ride bothered Horses this makes them a legend in their circles, but they never know those rides with friends and wonderfully calm Horses and Happy sunny days Of Love of their Mates. They then also claim that they are super fast on their Hot and Bothered and dangerous horses having talked themselves and those that dont know better into this reality, Yet any Horseman can ask a Horse they love to unload all of their power to the ground, Going fast is easy the steering the quality of handling they are the ones that the Pros built into their Horses and shines through in everything they do, see So much the Professionals do seems like it is nothing, the shaping the flexion the bending and the softness are always there because these guys were lucky they know where to shop for these Horses, Now this is utter disrespect of those that have no clue at all, every great Horse was made from Love and commitment, time and development and those lucky people make every Horse that, now Horseman and Horsewoman know this because they live it and the people they respect all have done that time and again, But so many new people fall into the hands of the other riders and learn off them, so upsetting that so many of these are kids falling into hero worshipping the rough riding and Handling and never really get the chance to watch the real deal at work, this is scathing and yes it says things are wrong but really honestly guys we loose so many wonderful people that come into the Horse industry that lost their dream because of this system and where those people set themselves up so they can have these people that dont know better worship their rough riding skills and they dont get to see an amazing western Horse or a much higher elite dressage rider, or a real Pro eventer show them what can be built and what is, that way they see how soft and compliant a Horse is when they understand. We cant keep ignoring this and not saying anything about it, because these people are so vocal and so bullish and try to run over anyone that says that it is incorrect. I know so many of these riders are riding the best they can and that is the point, finding the balance in Pony clubs and other events of speed and how this affects the Horses, both in mental and in Balance, so many things that talented trainers know is so very bad and yet they are powerless to say hey guys this is why we soften Horses in Dressage to drop and soften to the contact to then have a soft flexion to the inside so when I round a peg or drum and want to put the power to the ground the inside hind has it all stored there and ready for me to ask for it, why in any of our ridden work Professionals know why we get the shoulders soft and movable and that is then the hips as well because when you can move any or all of them then your Horses minds are soft and pliable. I am Only Here for the Horses and the Families of Horses and really I am not here as it may seem to Hurt or hate people or Fight but the Messages I must change have to be said, The Horses Industry does have so many things wrong with it and Honestly it should have been changed Many generations ago but often the ones doing really bad things are so strong and so outspoken that Good and I mean Honest to Goodness GOOD people have kept their mouths shut because they did not want to feel or wear the Brunt of the negative that will come with talking about the things that are not ok, I owe it to My LOVED Horses to speak out and say we started this here and it will continue, I can do things with Horses that Have not been achieved with Horses before because I this Ideals and Morality and I will not sell them down the river to make those that do bad things feel ok and in fact it makes me stronger every single time it comes up, It does that because of the Horses and Peoples lives I have already changed and they then help more Horses and People. So many Fantastic people I know in Horses that know what I am trying to do is correct and they also may have thought I was in fact against them or attacking them in some way because I at first am trying to talk and explain things that I was ill equipped to explain, But I am better at it now then I was and I will get much better at it in the years to come, But those People all Love their Horses and many have the same skills I do and their runs on the board I will always Honor and respect with the Highest of support, I am attacking a system that needs overhauling and rebuilding so that we do not keep loosing so many people that came into Horses with the same love and ideals you have and had all those years ago, but you didnt get caught in the bad and get badly hurt and left the industry broken in body and soul like so many innocents do every day. Let me leave you with this thought, had you not stayed, had you and your dreams suffered like the people I talk about and you know them, The this frightens the Hell out of me, look at the map and imagine all you achieved and gave was gone, What a tragedy that would have been for the Horse Industry and the Horses You Loved and shared your Journey with.
