What is HIPAA? In short it is the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability act. It is a FEDERAL LAW that protects a persons private medical information and recognizes the rights to relevant medical information of family caregivers and others directly involved in providing or paying for care. For the Medical community, to include the US Military, HIPAA is sacrosanct. It will not be violated for ANY REASON (at least at my level). Yet here we learn that Obama Care does just that. So how is it we can have 2 federal laws that directly contradict one another? I personally know which one I support and its not Obama care.
