What is Net Neutrality? You pay for your Internet access. You - TopicsExpress

What is Net Neutrality? You pay for your Internet access. You pay more to get faster Internet. The company with a website pays for their internet access. They pay more to get faster Internet. But between you and them, are many additional networks, networks built with tax dollars, and which also charge the companies we pay directly, for the data which travels over them. At present, that billing is based on the amount of data that gets moved (in most cases) Net Neutrality aims to keep it that way. What the Telcos are trying to do, is artificially slow most traffic, and force website providers to pay extra to the middle men, to get it back up to the speed it should be at anyway. These companies built their networks on your dime. They are a public utility, and have NO right to artificially limit your access. So, with this background, I want to reshare this link. https://battleforthenet/ Please, take action.
