What is Ubuntu? Ubuntu (Zulu/Xhosa pronunciation: [ùɓúntʼú]; English: /uˈbʊntuː/ oo-BUUN-too) or uMunthu (Chichewa) is an African ethic or humanist philosophy focusing on peoples allegiances and relations with each other. The word ubuntu has its origins in the Bantu languages of southern Africa. The philosophy, however, is mirrored in cultures around Africa and the world. Our vision is all about our growth as a species, integrity, honour, enlightenment, human consciousness and the individual roles we play in spreading this consciousness to others in South Africa, and to every other human being around the world. I have to emphasize that we are inherently a liberation movement of unity consciousness, disguised as a political party. Not because I wanted to get into politics, but because this platform gives us protection against exploitation by security forces, and it presents our movement with the same rights as those who rule us today and make decisions on our behalf. It also creates a level of credibility with those who may still frown upon our utopian vision. We will stay in integrity and honour, share relevant information with everyone, allowing them to reach their own conclusions. If you live outside of SA, I encourage you to do the same wherever you are, and let us build international highways of this new unity consciousness on credible platforms that infiltrate the financial and political arenas, and fill their hearts with love. ~ Michael Tellinger
