What is a Primer? Why do you have to wear it? And when do you use it? Is primer/base one thing? These are the most common questions I get, where most of you are confused as in why to buy base / primer when you are investing in high ends foundations. Primer is used to prepare your face before makeup application. Face is not same everyday and we face all sorts of problems like pimples, scars, blemishes, redness etc so primer fills in the lines and open pores so you get flawless finish and not cakey or clogy application . If you do not use a good primer then you tend to see those pores thru your foundation which are not attractive at all. so hence primer plays an important role in your makeup routine. Yes primer and base is one thing. Primers and Bases are available for different skin types and problems. I will post about the different types in another post. So stay tuned :)
