What is a browser? A browser allows us-the user to open web pages and surf the world wide web for free. There are a lot of browsers available today to download. Many of them are not safe for using and some have less features in it. Here is a list of the top 10 browsers which you can use to surf the web safely and smoothly. Top 10 Browsers: 1. Google Chrome Many of you may be already familiar with this astonishingly fast web browser. It is made by the web giant Google. Google Chrome is the fastest and smoothest web browser in the world. There is a marketplace for this where we can install extensions, and themes and some html5 games too. There is no performance lag even if we use it on low-end processors. The thing which I was most impressed with was the Chrome Web-store and the Instant search feature. 2. Mozilla Firefox Frankly, I love Mozilla Firefox only because of the toolbar feature and their add-ons are just simply amazing. If Google Chrome wouldn’t have been released, then I would have listed Mozilla Firefox as the first browser in the list of top 10 browsers. I have used this browser for more than 7 years and found that it is user-friendly and compatible with most apps. At times, I have become angry at Mozilla Firefox only because if I give a high load to it (Opening many tabs) then it crashes. It chunks all of my unsaved work. So this is the only problem I face with Mozilla Firefox. Overall, Mozilla is a better option if you want more productive web browsing. 3. Internet Explorer Well, Internet Explorer is a stock browser which comes with windows. Basically it is a given when you buy a computer. There are not that many features in it, but the Metro Internet Explorer which comes in Windows 8 is simply amazing. The normal Internet Explorer 10 is an average browser. I added it third in the list only because of the Metro User Interface in Windows 8. It comes with a few add-ons but not many. Internet Explorer is one of the oldest browsers. It was released on 1995. 4. Opera Opera is one of the best browsers currently available on the net. It is also a nice browser for mobiles and smartphones. Opera believes in serving best to its users. It is also one of the oldest browsers. Opera is specially known for its internet speed boosting feature which loads webpages faster than any other browser. I could give opera 8/10 rating. 5. Safari Safari is built by the computer giant company Apple. It is the best browser for Macintosh and iOS users. It is popular for its fast web browsing. Safari has all the standard browsing features in which all browsers have. But it is famous for its user interface. Safari is available for both Mac as well as Windows. 6. CoolNovo CoolNovo is also known as Chrome+. It is an enhanced version of Google Chrome. CoolNovo has all the features that Google Chrome has. It has some more features like tool-bars, Internet Explorer tabs, mouse gesture, super drag etc. CoolNovo even supports all extensions which are in Google Chrome and even some extra add-ons that are inbuilt. 7. It has also received couple of reward and medals for the best security. 9. Avant Browser Avant Browser is a browser built on trident layout engine by a Chinese programmer. It is similar to Internet Explorer by Windows but its more flexible than Internet Explorer and there is also a lite version of this browser. Avant Browser is known best for its security and also the multilingual support. It comes with around 41 languages. 10. Deepnet Browser Deepnet Browser was Developed by Deepnet Securities. It is built for making web browsing more secure and has gotten many great reviews. Deepnet is best solution for a fast, secure and smooth browsing without any distractions.
