What is a political dynasty? Do you think political dynasties are generally good or bad for the Philippines? Watch your fellow students debate it out so you can decide for yourself. The University Student Council, through the Good Governance Guild, and the College of Arts and Letters Student Council, proudly present Whos Next? A Political Dynasty Debate and Impromptu Speech Contest this Tuesday at CM Recto Hall, 4:00pm - 7:00pm November 25. The debate aims to show the students the pros and cons of political dynasties in order for them to decide for themselves which side has the stronger argument. The impromptu speech contest will give regular students the opportunity to talk about an important issue. The four debate teams will be from the School of Economics Student Council, the College of Business Administration Student Council, UP KAPPP, and UP Journalism Club. This is in cooperation with UP Debate Society who will be adjudicating the debate. The impromptu speech contestants are from IGNITE-NCPAG, UP CIRCA, College of Science Student Council and regular students from the College of Arts and Letters. This is also in cooperation with the University Freshman Council, UP Law Student Government, UP Le Club Francais and the UP Broadcasting Association.
