What-is-it Wednesday answer! Thank you to everyone for your help in identify our artifact this week. It is in fact a Camlock Coupling with a plug for hoses. It would have been used on the end of hoses as a leak proof way to transfer liquids like fuel or water. The plug is used to protect the hose from contaminants. Thank you to everyone for helping us identify this artifact from the Museums collection.
