What is it like being a single parent? Let me tell you about my last few hours. It was makeover night. Hair, nails, and mother daughter bonding time. My daughter wanted to paint her own nails, but since nail polish was already on my babies head I knew that was not a good idea. Instead I let her brush my hair. It sounded awesome. A few moments to relax with my hair being brushed. I needed that after a long day at work. I just started to relax and then I felt something gooey on my scalp. My daughter took a hand full of Blue Magic and smeared it on my hair. I now have to do the impossible and take a shower with them awake. I should have known when there was silence, but I treated myself to a whole 10 minute shower because I thought I was catching a lucky break. That was my first mistake. I walked out to my entire bathroom covered in smeared nail polish and nail polish foot prints all over the place. The floor is covered along with the counters. An hour later I have it cleaned with the realization that I now have to repaint and caulk my bathroom because nail polish stains on certain surfaces. I just get up off the floor frustrated already when I hear a pouring sound. The baby took off her diaper and peed on the floor. I am fairly certain I will be single forever. Please tell me others have my chaos. ~Cali
