Check out the new Mainline AWD dyno at SMD workshop in Sydney. SMD upgraded from their previous 2WD Mainline Dyno to a AWD1800 Premium model with twin rear retarders for his RWD heavy hitters ! The large screen shows the EMS tuning software program with all the data being logged from the EMS unit fitted to the vehicle, directly in to the Mainline Dyno software. The smaller screens are for dyno operation and data displays. The logged ECU data can be used for numerous advanced tests, including Minimum Timing for Best Torque ( MBT), Live Injector Dead Time measurement, injector, cam timing and AFR/Lambda optimisation to ensure a perfect tune and ultimate street drive-ability. SMD also have vehicle emission testing capabilities with our popular Emission Testing Module, that provides advanced combustion analysis and drive cycle simulation facilities including an IM240 drive cycle test.
