What is money? If you think you understand the dangerous Fed - TopicsExpress

What is money? If you think you understand the dangerous Fed and what money really is, I would charge us all to do a little history. In the old days money was backed by gold, really didnt mean much other than money is some precious rock used to stabilize our economy. It worked but as population grew it became impossible to use because it ran out. Money didnt grow in trees it was in the ground. Today money means something else because We and every other country on the planet got rid of the gold standard. Why? Gold was too scarce and caused several depressions, because every dollar had to be backed by gold. When President Andrew Jackson failed to create The Second Bank of The United States The Fed, this deflated the economy because you could only purchase with hard-money, gold or silver. Creating a run-on banks this caused one of the longest depressions in world history. Gold was a psychological anomaly as well and the lack of presence caused panic. The Fed is made of private banks who elect members of the board of directors at their regional Federal Reserve Bank while the members of the Board of Governors are selected by the President of the United States and confirmed by the Senate. Who We all elect through by where we bank our money or who we choose to vote for. Seems pretty fair. The Fed creates money by selling bonds to these banks at interest, which are sold to you and I in forms of loans then that money moves about. But what are they selling, what is a bond? A bond is debt also known as Fiat Money, meaning let it be done, this is how money is created. Its just sort of made up, which is good because that means We can control it. But what does it really mean? To me it means hours of your life: including but not limited to integrity, education, need, ability and want. Money (even if its gold) in a sense is a religion, you have to have faith in it or it means nothing. So if money is (and it is) a faith based system, which we elect by where our money goes or by votes, do we really want to motivate people with hunger, fear or depression, is that really necessary? That seems like the opposite way produce values like integrity, education, ability and want. It seems to produce violence, desperation, deflation and anger. So how can we change that? How do we help people in terrible situations and perpetual self destruction? The safety net is doesnt let people out, its for fish. What we need is a system of neighborly, friendly unconditional support for our family in need. But it needs to work. It needs to be a safety trampoline, if something fails, we go on to the next idea, we never stop moving. Right now the systems in place arent doing enough to make sure the turnover rate is a beneficial investment of our time. The poor, unemployed, rich, disabled and middle class all suffer when bad investments are continually made. What on earth can we do with this money that weve been printing mostly owned by the US which comes from absolutely nowhere other than our own sweet time? Well here is what we do with it so far: Right now according to elections We the People spend fifty five percent of the budget on the military, six percent for the Veterans, five percent for healthcare, two percent on transportation and six percent on education as proposed and likely will be the budget in 2015. A poor to middle class person making 12-93 thousand dollars spends most of their money on their home or at the bank (most), transportation (close second), food, personal insurance, our health, entertainment, then cloths and so on, most of these items are bought on credit. This varies but is what sixty one percent of the population spends their money on. Of this population fifty three percent of this population are considered working class. These jobs in 1960-1980 were great ways to make an income. The population of the factory workers has been taken by retail but now we dont believe in those jobs, we believe those people should just go elsewhere, move on. Well I think these employees deserve the same respect and dignity that their fathers and mothers got in the 1970s.
