What is on my mind today is that I am a witness to the awesome - TopicsExpress

What is on my mind today is that I am a witness to the awesome power of prayer. Especially the combined prayer of believing people. The Bible says that when two or three are gathered together in His name, He will be in their midst. There were many more than two or three praying for me this past weekend. The request for prayer was put out over this social media and my scattered family and friends, and even strangers, everywhere started to pray for me. I came as close to death as one can, and still live, this past weekend. But, I lived. Because of illnesss too long and boring to go into, my body went into systemic shock, and renal failure. Once, my heart even stopped. This morning - I am very much alive - writing you - and about to start doing laundry! We are not promised tomorrow, and the next time that happens to me, I may die in spite of prayers; BUT if I do, I am ready, and I am grateful that God spared my life this time. By the way, I had a hour long telephone call from my granddaughter Maigan - something we havent done in years! Thank you for your prayers and your faith that God would hear them. Blessings, Glenda
