What is so special about the people who make a difference in your life??? My daddy made my sister and I feel like we were beautiful and brilliant. He had a knack of making you feel like you were the most important person on the planet for however long you were with him. He had an amazing sense of humor and he was wise like no one else Ive ever known. He just seemed to understand. He related to people of every different background and those with differing opinions still respected him because even if he didnt agree with them, he made them feel listened to. He was creative and a master storyteller. Oh, those bedtime stories! But he wasnt just a dreamer. He got stuff done. He made a difference in his community and in my life. My mom gave me my roots. With her I know who I am and where I come from. She is my home. My daddy gave me my wings and helped me to believe in all I can be. Ill always wish he was still here to share my accomplishments with and to talk me through my failures. What about you? Who has made a difference in your life???
