What is the Blue Lodge Ball? The better question is “what isn’t it”. The Blue Lodge Ball or the “BLB” is a “wedding reception type get together” in which brethren from all over the metro area are invited to attend an evening of dinner, dancing, music, and merriment. I’ll explain…when I say “wedding reception type get together” I am referring to the cacophony of people that make up the population of said event. A mixture of the young and the old, the energetic and the lethargic, tuxes and polo’s, the party people and the party poopers all getting down and having a good time. Cocktail hour begins at 5pm with dinner beginning at 6pm. There will also be a photographer on sight so that guests may have a souvenir of the evening. Tickets to the “BLB” are $25 per person and may be purchased through any member of Papillion Lodge #39.
