What is the desire of your heart today? How do you plan on achieving your goals? What keys are you using to accomplish your goal? Are these keys working? Are you taking the necessary steps for success? Listen to what God has to say about this. Proverbs 16:3 Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed. WORKS: activity involving mental or physical effort done in order to achieve a purpose or result. God really desires for you to be a success in this life. What happens much of the time is many people don’t know what God desires for them and will settle for anything that comes along. Then when nothing works they say; oh well it must not have been God’s will for me to do that, or have that…How sad is that! God never desired us to settle for second best! In giving Christ, His Son Who paved the way for our eternal salvation He gave His very best. When we accepted Christ, the living sacrifice we received in our born-again spirit man the very best of God. His nature, His ability, His love, His mercy, His creativity, His thoughts… BUT even so this does not automatically mean we have everything now and have to do nothing but wait for the good things in life to fall in our laps, this type of thinking is stupid, lazy and futile and will not bring fulfillment. God ordained the plan of salvation, yet Jesus still had to carry it out which meant His going to the Cross. God is a God of action and requires us to participate with Him in this action. We must be those who will move-engage-participate with Him. Faith and patience inherit the promises of God. Faith without corresponding action is dead… Faith is not just a prayer, and then we sit and wait for something to happen, or hope something will happen. That my friend is not faith at all. Faith is action, motion, a movement. Faith has substance. God has His plan for us and we need to know what it is and then participate, engage, move forward in and with His plan to be carried out. If you don’t know what His plan is, then pray and ask Him. He will not only tell you, but will help you walk it out. God desires to be wholly involved in your life today, so open your heart and arms and welcome Him. Blessings to you today
