What is the difference between the Chametz and the Matzah. Matzah - TopicsExpress

What is the difference between the Chametz and the Matzah. Matzah must not be exposed to moisture until it is finally mixed with water. It becomes Chametz eighteen minutes after rising. This teaches the power of the gift of the given moment. The potential of presence in a given moment. This is why the first mitzvah was Rosh Chodesh, because the slave’s time did not belong to him, the gift of time was very relevant. The matzah represents a window in time. It is a window of opportunity to connect with the Divine. It is called Lechem O’nee or the bread of poverty, because it requires us to give up all our attachments. Chametz is attachments and Cheth. Matzah is freedom Acheh. We eat the matzah for seven days to symbolize the seven days of creation. Chametz symbolizes missed opportunity. Matzah represents seizing the moment. It is the full potential of who we can be. The matzah is the window of opportunity and the masculine element. There are two major and one minor mitzvot in all this. The drinking of the four cups of wine represents the four worlds and the YHVH and the flowing of THAT. The matzah is the masculine element and the morror, which is the bitterness. There is an important message here for the process of liberation. The bitterness of difficulties is inherent on the spiritual path, as the darkness is always making an effort to undermine the light.
