What is the take home pay of the Ogun state civil servants that governor Ibikunle Amosun wants them to cough out N80,000 to send their children to Olabisi Onabanjo University? How much did Ibikunle Amosun pay as fees between 1979 to 1983 when he was a student at the Ogun state Polytechnic now Moshood Abiola Polytechnic during the free education programme of the defunct Unity Party of Nigeria (UPN)? Is Amosun not aware that Nigerians cannot afford three squad meal let alone raise N80,000 as fees for their children university education? Can the pepper and meat sellers raise N80,000 to send their children to OOU? Is Amosun not aware of the alarming rate of unemployment in the country? Abi, he is indirectly telling the people of Ogun state that education during his time is not for the poor parents but for the rich. The leadership of the APC should call governor Amosun to order.
