What is wrong with my Sanghi friends? Every one who knows me, knows it well that I brlieve in Congress ideology, its tradition and culture. For me Congress is not just a political party, its a tool for building nation and bring about radical changes in the thinking of the people for development of national character based on tolerance, mutual faith, trust, brotherhood, love and affection. I have lot of friends from other political parties who differ with me but we have accepted each other as friends and thats what friendship is known to. Most of us refrain from discussing our differences and concentrate on what is commom in between us. Few days back, I have requested my some of Sanghi friends to please accept me as I am and refrain from trying to change me by coming in the way of my freedom of expression. But it appears it has fallen on their deaf ears. Yesterday, one of my old colleague and a Sanghi sent me emails containing shit about Congress leaders. He used to be like that when we met here on facebook after a gap. I haf tried my best to make him understand the differences in our basic thoughts and either refrain from forcing upon me his ideology or leave me. He did not understand and ultimately I had to not only unfriend him but had to ignore him. Can there be any other way to let some one understand? But no, he again sent me shit mails. I never jump to make comments on the posts or status updates of those who are not Congress supporters even though I differ. As Congressmen, we have been brought up in environment, where difference of opinion, views and values is inevitable. Every citizen of this country enjoys fundamental right of expression and form his own opinion. No one has right to force on others his opinion or views. But some of my Sanghi friends are unable to understand and no matter how much energy you waste upon them to understand, they are unable to resist and would always jump to make comments and that too in a mood to argue. Why they behave like this? Why they dont pay importance to personal relations and friendship? I have been thinking over it and now have drawn following conclusion: 1. Sanghis are intolerent. They cannot tolerate any thing which is expressed against their party. They try their best to shut your mouth. Either accept their ideology or keep quit. 2. Sanghis dont believe in co-existence. Their tendency is to finish what is not condudive to their ideology. 3. Sanghis are reactionary and this is the reason they start reacting the moment you express your views. I am sorry to say that these are the traits which force me hate sangh culture. Unity in diversity is something which makes India stand different and unique and I feel proud on this unique character of our nation. I once again request my sanghi friends to understand my sentiments and either accept me as I am or else unfriend me. When I can accept you as my friend knowing well that you belong to an ideology I hate and refrain from making comments on you or your posts, why can not you? At least they must have seen quote from my ideal Mahatma Gandhi ji on my profile. It must be understood clearly that Congress is inhereted in my blood and it does not matter to me if Congress wins or looses, comes out successful or unsucessful, I will keep the tricolour of this noble party fly high with pride.
