What is wrong with you people? Im in shock. Not because of a 7-1 score. But because of the lack of morals & decency towards a nation such as Brazil. 99% of fb posts, ecards, tweets & 47 counted comments, messages & even calls (!!) I randomly received on my phone tonight (mostly from people that havent spoken a word with me since weeks..) are full of spitefulness, expressions of revenge & schadenfreude?! Eih da?!? Is a well played match & the upcoming finals for you not enough reason to be happy for? Cant you just be happy w bas keda? Is it needed that on top of it you go that low where you make sure really everyone felt it hard enough & had it rubbed into the face for a gazillion times? Really, I have never seen any other nation in this world behaving to such a narrow minded extend. If I just posted some of the comments & texts here, youd be stunned & speechless. What most of you guys unfortunately dont understand is that for Brazil & its people this World Cup has not just been a sport, a big event, match or fun. Football itself has always been more than just a sport to the people, its been Brazils emblem for decades. Something they can identify themselves, their lives & hard issues with. Something that the most of you cannot understand because you let yourself blindly & successfully be trimmed to become an emotionless, rich-society-following & dependent mashine of the system. Now not only this... Thousands of Brazilians have involuntarily lost their homes, families & even lives for this World Cup to happen in their country. Millions of people have been silenced, are & still will be suffering from the situation they have been put in for you to enjoy a happy sports event... Ask again why Brazilians are so very vulnerable & emotional about this years World Cup? The only balm that could have healed their wounds at least a little bit & would have given them some mental support would have been to watch their Star Neymar Jr. to win this Cup together with his team in their country, for their country. Now this didnt happen, it wasnt meant to be & Germany simply was the better team tonight. The extend to which it happened is painful enough & hard to be accepted..but what is it that makes You then add insult to injury?? I literally (!) can count the number of people on one hand that understood the situation behind it all & managed to show empathy towards Brazil while to the same time simply being happy for Germany without the urge to make them hurting more, to make them want to feel ashamed & as losers or to say they deserved it, speaking of revenge and what not. If you chose your mind to be set like that, the shame & blame is not on them, think about it for a hot second... Thank God at least the German football players were fair in the end to show enough understanding & some real compassion towards the Brazilian team. Bravo, I liked to see that & I did appreciate Müllers interview! If theyre such heroes to you on a sports level why dont you go & learn a thing of two from their social understanding as well..? No, I do not feel ashamed for Brazil. However, I do feel ashamed to be a part of something else... And again: Congratulations, Germany. You played well on the court of football. I just wished your fans played that well on the court of life as well... Brazil, youll always be the winner of our hearts ♡ Now lets all calm down again & focus on the things in life that really deserve our attention the most such as those millions of protestors on the streets of Brazil or the currently increasing situation in Gaza... Boa noite.
