What justifies Imran Khans call for a series of shutdowns across - TopicsExpress

What justifies Imran Khans call for a series of shutdowns across the country? We see people mock IK for his Plan C , D or E. Some argue that a call for a shutdown or blockade is probably is not the best move at this time as it would seriously affect the lower middle class whose only source to feed their children is their daily wages. I would like to ask all these people whether they think its also Imran Khans fault that almost 70% of the population cant actually afford to feed their kids at all. Parliament in Pakistan has completely lost its sanctity and significance both as a legislative body and as a place where national issues are discussed and resolved. Most of our parliamentarians have either gone abroad expanding their business empires or simply cant be bothered to visit parliament. Our national issues get discussed in television talk shows and opposition mainly comes from IKs dharna. Government ministers are busy doing press conferences over PTI leaders tax evasion scandals. Where on earth do we get to see a government minister moaning and complaining about peoples tax evasion on media??! Governments job is to take actions. Government ministers dont just condemn things, they enforce laws. In a true functional democracy, Chief minister of a province is morally, religiously and officially responsible for any action taken by any government institution in that province. But we saw what happened to our physically challenged protesters in Punjab! Its a shame and a heartbreaking reality that not a single government minister has either resigned or been sacked so far. Imran Khan is a peoples leader. He has made sacrifices for his people. If hes calling for a blockade or a shutdown, its only for us and our childrens future sake. Please support IK and PTI in this move. Thanks.
