What makes Wish Bone so special? We are a predominantly volunteer/foster based organization, few employees are needed and most dogs go to dedicated foster homes. Nearly all of our dogs come from kill shelters. Additionally, a large portion of the dogs we take in are neglected, older, sick, newborn, need behavioral help, or are breeds that others will not take. We also focus on community based programs that keep pets in their homes and out of public shelters, like our food bank for low income residents, and our vaccination clinics at St. Marys Church. Wish Bone could not do it without your support. Please donate financially, foster a needy pet, volunteer your talents, or adopt one of the fantastic dogs that we have worked so hard to rehabilitate.
