What makes a good church service? What is the point? All my life I have heard Man, that service was so good that the preacher didnt even get to preach!!! How does that make it a good service? What is actually accomplished in YOUR life in order to challenge you to take the Gospel to the lost and dying world if you are just sitting in your pew watching a spectacle and getting excited that people are in the alters where you should be. Church isnt a show. Church is where we go to glorify God and to be fed and strengthened to fulfill the great commission. So, instead of focusing on signs and wonders, how about we open our bible and first of all make sure our preachers are preaching a Gospel-driven message and second actually absorb the preaching that is brought to you every week....especially if thats the only time you open up your bibles. Who cares if the preacher was on fire if you didnt get presented Jesus and you werent changed or challenged in some way. *end rant*
