What makes the difference between Democracy and Kingship in India. In none of the decisions peoples interests are protected or considered, Most of which are directly linked with the rulers political and economic benefits. Obviously after every thing is over something will be left behind for the people. May be democracy means binding the values and opinions of people and keeping them aside in all decisions policy making (Demo= people; crate = enclose). Once they vote and elect the representatives their duty is over. Rest of the 5 years the representatives will decide according to their interests (both political and economic) disregarding the interests of the people. The day should come when representatives should be scared of people contrary to present situation where people are scared of the representatives.
