What objects remind you of God? Is there a picture of Jesus or of a Heavenly scene hanging on the wall? Is there a particular golden cross necklace or a wooden cross on your bookshelf? Do you own a special Bible? Is there a song that transports you into God’s presence? These types of things will help us draw closer to God. But, we need to make sure they don’t get in the way of God. Come join us this Sunday when we will study I Samuel 4:1-11. There we will learn about a time when a special object got in the way of God. It spelled disaster for the Nation of Israel.
