Problems continued after production as the release was postponed several times while Coppola edited millions of feet of footage. Did you know Marlon Brando was a dick? Brandos character was originally named Leighley because Brando hadnt read the goddamn script or even the novella it was based on before showing up piss-drunk on the set of the film in the goddamn Philippines? It was only after principal photography was completed that Brando got the reference and agreed that the characters name should be Kurtz. Harrison Ford then had to lip-sync all his lines in post-production. What a dick.
