What our Governments need to be doing is cutting big Subsidies to fossil fuel companies and using those funds to invest directly into renewable energy programs. Germany invested $19 billion euros into theirs and it flurished into a $40billion euro industy. $2Billion a year of our money is given to big polluters who make Billions in profit. Economically it doesnt make sense, we are cutting welfare as we cant afford it yet subsidies big business who dont need it. Its the equivalent of everyone who pays tax in aus burning $182.
