What say we all get together for a potluck and re-watch The Help? While black people account for 13 percent of the population, they make up more than 40 percent of state prisoners. Yet according to a new Stanford study, white people are more likely to support harsher criminal justice policies if provided evidence that shows our criminal justice system disproportionately targets black people.
