We propose that a future Irish government build multiple pumped hydro storage dams on the western coast. The rise in energy production would slash both energy impost costs and electricity bills for businesses and homes. This would have a big effect on government finances and your pocket. At the moment the plan is for a foreign company to develop these resources and lay transistor lines to Britain. As usual the Irish government and people will only get a pittance in return for selling out their resources. We propose that these dams be built by Ireland and all benefits go to the Irish people.
