What warmed my heart yesterday, other than having the whole Thompson family together, was hearing my granddaughter Ava and her two cousins, Bennie and Alex playing downstairs, making up games, just like their Moms and Dads and uncles used to do. They were playing haunted house with flashlights. And Bennie (the oldest) was in charge, just like his Mom used to be! Bennie: OK the lights will go off in 10-9-8-7... Alex: I want to count the other way! and Ava just went with the flow!! Precious!
