What was posted yesterday was not an April Fools joke, it was reality. I apologize to anyone I offended and/or disappointed by posting such private and intimate details concerning my man and his expectant child. Although very therapeutic it was in bad taste. Now lets be clear, I was pissed and reacted out of pure emotions. When I spoke with Andrea I was calm and collective. When I spoke with Demetrius I was calm and collective hoping it wasnt true. Im sure she didnt get the response she was looking for then and she wont get it now. The peace I have about the whole situation is nothing more or less than the peace that The Lord gives that surpasses all understanding. I am his women. She is not nor will she ever be. I am the woman he prays with, attends church with, fellowships among family and friends with, eats and breaks bread with. This child was conceived before my time and I will accept her with open arms. He knows what is now required of him. If we fail as a couple it wont be because of this situation. I had to think about whether I wanted to leave for stay. Surprisingly I didnt have to think hard because I almost lost him 3 weeks ago. The agony I felt waiting to hear his voice come back on that phone that night was something I never imagined dealing with. I stuck by his side for that and Ill stick by his side for this. Some may not understand nor do I care because only he and I have to live with this decision. This is what separates me from other women. This is what makes me the woman I am. I too had a child, an undesirable past, and baggage yet someone took a chance on me and better yet Christ died for the remission of my sins. That being said I appreciate the calls, texts, and words of support and encouragement but he and I will discuss privately what happens from this point forward. Continue to pray with us that we have the strength we need to move forward.
