What we expect to happen is that the parents of Ashya King appear in front of a Spanish judge who should ask them if they accept their extradition to the UK. If they say yes then they could be back in Britain within 48 hours and would be escorted back by police from the Hampshire force. If they say no, another court hearing would be expected in a matter of weeks or even months and the judge would have to decide if they should be granted bail or kept in Spanish police custody. There is nothing to suggest that they broke any law when they took their son from the hospital in Southampton on Thursday afternoon.
