What we have to realize that minimum wage and living wage arent real issues. They are political issues designed to demonize conservatives while not actually helping anyone. Living wage is an emotional phrase and designed to get votes and political power by taking advantage of the least educated among us. A “living wage” is never defined. Does a living wage involve a steak on the table, or only hamburger? Is it a living wage if a person cannot afford a television set, or to pay for a satellite dish service? Is a living wage the same in every part of the country? Should those with more children be paid more? The entire concept is so hollow and arbitrary as to be ridiculous.
