What we see in Iraq today is the natural reaction and expected - TopicsExpress

What we see in Iraq today is the natural reaction and expected outcome towards the Iraqi government which continues to oppress the Sunnis of Iraq and openly show its ugly face of sectarianism. ISIS is a terrorist extremist group but they are not worse than Almalikis government and the Shia militias in Iraq, Syria and Hizbullah in Lebanon. The portrayal of what is happening in Iraq, that it is ISIS against the Iraqs government is not true, its the entire Sunni region standing against injustice and years of killing, rape, poverty, and humiliation. Even Obama figured that out but some Muslims havent yet ! Where were these voices that cry over Iraq today when Sunnis were killed in Iraq and Syria? Why is it only the Sunnis blood that is worth nothing? I believe all humans lives should be protected, honored and treated fairly. We never learn as Sunni muslims to hate the Shias when we studied Islam, but its part of the Shia theology to hate the companions and the sunnah who as they claimed took away the Imaamah and oppressed the Imams and their followers. I would love to see the Shia say that they were wrong about that and condemn all those who showed such enmity towards the sunni. I asked so many of the Shia: you all say we do not believe that the sahabah and the mothers of the believers are kuffar, but yet you print the books and praise the scholars who said that? I do not believe that it is correct to say the Shia are kuffar or to make any statement that encourage a sectarian war or insight violence agents the Shia, Sunnah or any other groups. We should learn to live together talk to one another and not to kill or abuse one another. The Shia have been part of our history and will be part of our future, so no one should think he can or has the right to end their existence. I pray for a safe, free, fair, Iraq that is based on Quran and Sunnah, where people of different religions, sects can feel safe, and have freedom. Finally I stand for my last post where I was speaking about the nonsense of those who believe that the dead can protect them and they call people to believe that, but now they end up calling people to protect those dead! It has nothing to do with the war in Iraq or ISIS or Sunni vs Shia from politics point of view, rather it was from a theology perspective. This new post explains some of my position from what is happening in Iraq.
