What wishful thinkers don’t understand is that nothing can - TopicsExpress

What wishful thinkers don’t understand is that nothing can change unless the owners of property, power and prestige are willing to voluntarily share the societal resources based on the rule of law and common civility to create opportunity for all so everyone has the occasion of using his/her talents, ability and effort to make a better life. The owners and controllers of power and financial resources do not easily give up the control and intoxicating joy and pleasure that they get from it. Comical political and social “reform”, the theatrics of “electing a moderate President”, and the rest of skullduggery of the past 35 years has produced what is and as is. The change does not come through reform and painting the pig in green or violet, the pig, as they say, is always a pig no matter what make up you put on him! The bases of power distributed across military/economic/financial spectrum does not and will not give up the power position as wishful thinkers and disciples of Mandela and Gandhi and others who perhaps have the fear of facing the real truth may believe. Society is in desperate need for fundamental structural change. Not cosmetic and change of color, not incremental change and the choice between bad and the worse, but a change that may come about by a war that ends all wars. What you see in this picture is two Iranian women ridding in a Porsche, in Noor Forest northern Tehran. The picture is taken on Friday May 24, 2013 by AP Photo/Ebrahim Noroozi. The following is the link to the related article—does it look like that those who have and are in control are going to allow any “change” that may challenge their power base? iranian/posts/view/post/17354
