What would you do? Honestly they posed a great question? Racial profiling is so real. Especially for the black Male. I remember once there was a black male driving my van after work one night the Aberdeen police department in Marylabd pulled him over no reason except being black. No ticket issued but they found he had a work restriction and he was just getting off work so they decided well we are going to impound my car even after I came up to get it before putting it on the tow. My initial response was to cuss them out. I stopped breathed for a moment and smiled Ill see you in the morning. Went home got my rest woke up the next morning I filed a report. I filed it also above that precinct. They are forced to do an investigation. I ccd every government official including NAACP. People dont understand the extreme. I let that go to court and the officer was fired from just that precinct Im sure. They allowed one to take the fall when it was five o their officers there all with the same intent. But I dont mind taking them on one by one. Sad thats our justice. Of course they returned my car with no fees while that department got basically a smack on the hands. But Im going to be honest. I have brothers yes.. Nephews uncles and my dad are black men. Im a lighter black women with no sons and all light and very fair skin daughters. They dont understand the life of real racial profiling. Might see it might even be in the car with it but when you appear educated or lighter with money they will find other ways to still show their racism to us. Now understand thats not always the case but I will admit I have seen the exceptions. It saddens my heart for the black man no one seem to think this isnt a worldwide problem and yes we also need to start from within to correct some of the lifelong oppression of our people. In tired of other races telling us what we should do and he stories of what they been through I was taught history . Is it fair that we beat raped and killed blacks then said well heres your freedom we will give you less education and we still survived now its we can have equal education but still racially profiled.. Freedom but still any drive through any neighborhoods without racial profiling.. A shopping experience as if we are the only ones capable of stealing. How can families function without peace. How can a black man still love when he is taught not to love himself.. Its so profound and yet amazing that so many rise no matter what but many scarred. This is everyones problem no lt just the black male. We have to co-exist as one.. I dont believe many races truly think we are all thieves violent.. I believe its guilt of knowing what you and many of your own have done.. Now understand Im not calling everyone else is racist what Im saying is if you pretend to have blinders they may be a reason. Sometimes it just may be ignorance so it will take someone like me that you feel comfortable with to have this conversation. People wonder why so many blacks are angry retaliate its because many have no hope.. We have been abused to a corner. Terrified and tired. I still smile not because my life is much better but because I do out God first and upfront. Because I will die for what I believe in. Im not afraid and not having fear and not allowing someone to break me no matter the circumstances . Again I dont endure what the black male does either so easy for me to be a fighter when I dont have the same fight. We need recognition of a growing problem and we need to realize co-existing and wanting better it affects our children it affect our families. When these things are disrupted consistently understand they are not functioning families functioning children they just exist trying to survive. And no they are apart of your world with your children see where this is going? You cant keep moving away. Eventually you are forced to deal with the issues of the world too.
