What would you pack for a two-week camping trip? Well here is USAR 5 - our primary international disaster response cache. Inside all of these boxes is everything for 72 people to camp in a green field for a fortnight, without asking for anything from the locals - 20 tonnes including food, water, tents, showers, toilets, water heaters, medical, rescue gear, power generation, communications, hazardous materials equipment, the lot! It is packed on military pallets because we only have 6 hours from time-of-call until the transport aircraft has to be up in the air!
