Laura ranks among our very favorite singers, and shes one heckuva fiddler, too. Along with Maria Vandersteel on fiddle and Valerie Thompson on cello, Laura crafts driving, passionate songs of abstract truth, and invariably leaves you humming her other-worldly motifs. The trio recently returned from a purty-near world tour representing the U.S. of A. (thank you, U.S. State Dept!), and are now bringing their fiddle diplomacy to Seattle. We cant recommend this intimate concert enough, but if you need a little temptation, taste this lil delicacy recorded by the cool folks at Folk Alley:
