What you probably dont know about me....When I joined Facebook in 2010 it was strictly for business. I had tried it 6 months earlier and hated mixing my corporate connections with my family and high school friends. But after I lost my job and joined Xyngular, my sponsor told me to get on Facebook and start making friends Ha ha....I had no idea what I was doing!! So I made a lot of mistakes along the way, but Im not one who likes to give up....In 2011 a mentor said to me Renee, you are so guarded!! You dont let anyone see the real you. That stung! Here I was feeling so vulnerable every time I posted something. You never know what comment someone will make. Being a child of the 70s, this was foreign to me. Remember those days?? :-) Well, his comment stuck with me and since then Ive done my best to find my voice. I try to let you know my values, my personality, etc. This isnt easy considering my entire family doesnt want me to ever mention their names! Ha! Well, lately Ive been stepping outside of my comfort zone. Sharing my feelings about Dale has been tough but I do so because its the most genuine expression of my recent coming of age, so to speak. I want you to know who I am at the deepest level. I dont want to live in fear that someone may judge me. So, Im letting myself be vulnerable and the result has really surprised me. To say Ive received an outpouring of love and support is an understatement!! I have been blessed!! ....... I decided to make this video today after I shared another very personal post on my business page this morning. If youd like to go to Social Marketing with Renee, you can see that post.
