What you say reveal a lot of whats in your heart. Our words often undercover what is within us. Those little subtle things people say then proclaim they were joking are often a warning to you of what they are really thinking about you. Sometimes words will warn you of the plot a person is planning against you. Often times we miss the warnings that The Lord allows to be revealed from the very person that hurts us because we dont pay attention to words. I have always been a person that paid attention to what comes out of a person mouth. You have to learn how to listen with the Spirit of God as people have conversation with you. The Spirit of God can detect a lie a deception a plot and a person intentions even before they open their mouth. Many times the anointing will cause them to reveal their own wickedness out of their own mouths. Even when the preacher is preaching pay attention to what they are saying. I have been in services where the preacher gets the people work up in emotionalism and then speak something that is a contradiction to the word but the people are so emotional until they agree with the lie. Thats how satan is able to entice and draw the people into traps & plots by distracting them from having the ability to distinguish words. I have seen people get caught up as someone is prophesying to them a total lie because instead of discerning they are moved by their emotions rather than listening with a spiritual ear. It is the persuasive words of the enemy presented in a tone or manner that intrigues & captivates the listener that has pulled many into the deception of satan. Words are powerful tools that can be used in a positive or negative way. The Word of God proclaims that death & life is in the power of the tongue. It is the words released that creates and frames the atmosphere around our life. Just as we should be careful what we speak we also must be careful of what we allow someone else to speak over our lives. Start paying attention spiritually to what you hear. As you begin to practice hearing with the Spirit of God you will be amazed at how words have effective your life either from your tongue or the tongue of others!!
