What you were doing on September 11, 2001, the day that our lives changed forever? I remember exactly what I was doing..I was off that day, it was beautiful outside..I took my kids to school, and came back home to get dressed because we were going to catch the bus to the city for the day to chill. Had I already been dressed, we would have already been on our way to the city walking right into the middle of everything (which we did not even know about at that moment). It was not until my sister, Jackie called me about 8:40 AM and said “Turn on your TV, we are under attack!!!” and I remember not knowing what she was talking about, and then I turned on my TV, and began watching all the horror of the attack on American soil unfold before my eyes..And while watching TV, I could hear all the sirens and chaos going on around my outside my window, while being stuck to the TV, watching in horror and crying as our country was indeed under attack, and I was terrified!! Phone lines were busy, you could not reach no one for hours at a time, chaos & confusion, traffic was a mess around you, people’s screams were piercing, everyone you saw was crying and it was such a somber scene. It was such a sad a day!! 12 Years later I still remember that day. No one was or could ever be prepared for that day not knowing you will not be coming home again, or someone you love would not be coming home that day. God Bless the People who Died in Flight 93, the Pentagon & the World Trade Center, First Responders (police, firefighters, ems) & the other HEROES and families of 9-11. God please bless our troops past and present who have laid, and continue to lay their lives on the line for our freedom everyday and we should thank all those who gave and are giving their lives everyday(First Responders -police, firefighters, ems) to continue to try to keep us safe and free. I will NEVER FORGET 9-11-01
