Whatever is transpiring in Sonar Bangla should be a matter of concern. Not only to the people residing in Bengal but every Indian who has an iota of patriotism. The recent blasts in Burdwan has opened up the pandoras box and skeletons are but tumbling out of the cupboard. It is worth mentioning that the terrorist group that was involved in the blasts was staying in the house which also housed a Trinamul party office. Noteworthy indeed. Then, quite like the Sarada scam, the Bengal police forces apparent apathy towards the incident. Not only were important documents pertaining to the blasts performed an evaporating act but no stones were left unturned to scuttle the investigation. The involvement of the NIA is bothering not only the keepers of the law but also the top brass of the Trinamul. Mukul Roy should do a bit of homework before blurting out nonsense. Under section 121 to 130 of cognisable offences act, the NIA has been given the power to investigate any act or crime in any part of the country if the act or the crime undermines or compromises the unity and integrity of the nation. Does Mukul Roy know this. Moving court to dilute the provisions of the act will be a non starter. Moreover wherein lies the motive. Is Trinamul trying to hide something or the anti national act has the blessing of some leader oops politician. It should also be noticed that the charges framed against the accused are bail worthy. Raj Nath Singh has taken cognisance of the incident and the role of our police force. Hope in the coming days we will get to know the truth. North Block should be vigilant.
