Whats on my mind, FB asks? The pervasive dominance of a negative orientation in mainstream media culture. One simple case in point, Partly Cloudy. Why not, Mostly Sunny? Subtle and perhaps irrelevant, but the power of perspective as the lens through which one views life and their experiences is not. (No clouds were harmed in the making of this post, though it did trigger a few with rejection issues to call their therapist).
