Whats on my mind today? My daughters. Im proud of the oldest one who poured her heart into the hour long presentation shes making in todays history class on the history of feminism. She dug up a lot of interesting stories and I learned a lot vicariously. Im proud of the middle one whos off on a three day back-country canoe trip this morning. She will almost certainly step into her natural leadership ability and teach the less experienced campers how to set up tents. And Im proud of the youngest one who showed her passion in the pool yesterday at the year-end synchronized swimming show. She has found her place of grace and I love watching her there. Theyre growing into such interesting, unique young women with passion, curiosity, and strength, and I am lucky to be their mom.
