Yes the strike will prove to be damaging. but just think about when workers take a decision to strike, im sure you will agree with me that most paramount to the decision is what they perceive as their immediate economic circumstances rightly or wrongly. The economy is as far as tuinhuis and tokyo in their minds. Do they really care if the economy is ruined, probably not.
