Whats the difference between the Standard and Premium Interior LED Packages?? The new Premium 5730SMD LED bulbs are the next generation of new LEDs. Compared to the older 5050SMDs, these LEDs have 3 times the light output per LED. The 5730 LED chip is designed for maximum light output while the aluminum housing helps to dissipate heat effectively for the longevity of the bulb. The new 5730SMD LEDs have a Constant Current Circuit design which helps maintain brightness if the voltage fluctuates within the circuit and has voltage surge protection up to 18V.
