Whats the worst thing about being a boy? Im not gonna lie and say boners because its not. Youre prepared for that. the worst thing about being a boy is the pressure. The pressure from society and the media to be perfect. Not all guys are Abercrombie models with a bunch of confidence and a great personality and super romantic. Not every guy knows exactly what to say and when to say it. We make mistakes and nobody lets us forget about them. Guys may seem tough but we have insecurities too. If anything guys are more nervous and insecure than girls. If you dont have six pack abs and a perfectly tanned and toned body then girls dont even look at you. We can try and try as hard as we can to look good or get noticed but girls dont even care. Girls expect you to do all the work in the relationship and be cute and romantic all the time. They dont even realize how hard it is for us to work up the courage to say hi to them. They expect us to be nice all the time to everyone even when people get on our last nerves. Girls say guys judge girls but girls are even worse. You get judged every day on everything you do and everywhere you go. You have to compete with these seemingly perfect icons like Justin Bieber or One Direction. We have to smell, look, feel, act, and just do everything perfect. Noone excepts that guys have flaws too. There is alot of pressure in competing with other guys around us. Guys arent allowed to cry or show pain or weakness because its not manly. So we just endure the pain and pretend like were not crying on the inside. Anything you do you get called gay for. If you dont have a girlfriend, youre gay, if you have a girlfriend, youre gay, if youre a little weird, youre gay, if you like guys, youre gay, if you write really long gay paragraphs about your feelings, youre gay. Its so hard to do everything right and if you do something good, its not enough. Under all the tough manliness we are people with feelings. Its hard to be ripped like the guys in commercials and stuff. We have to workout and starve ourselves and even then its hardly noticeable. Its just impossible to be who others want us to be, and thats the worst part about being a guy.
